gir1.2-freedesktop software package provides Introspection data for some FreeDesktop components, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gir1.2-freedesktop
gir1.2-freedesktop is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gir1.2-freedesktop package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gir1.2-freedesktop *
You will get with gir1.2-freedesktop package name, version, architecture and description in a table
